Luigi is Mario's younger, taller and slightly thinner twin brother. Luigi has assisted and fought alongside his brother on many occasions. Throughout his life, he has lived in Mario's shadow, developing both cowardly and heroic tendencies. Yoshi is one of the heroes of the Mushroom World and an ally of Mario and Luigi. He is a member of the Yoshi species and has aided his brethren in saving their homeland on multiple occasions.
